The Crown is a traditional country pub in the North Pennines Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with views stretching over the valley of Allendale. We are a free house, though closely linked with the Allendale Brewery – a short walk away by the East Allen River. As their brewery tap, we always have five Allendale beers on hand pumps, and various guest beers.

Lunch is served every day from noon to 3pm.

Evening Meals are available Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6 – 9pm.

Traditional Sunday Lunch served noon to 3pm.

QUIZ NIGHT: Every other Tuesday at 8pm

TRADITIONAL MUSIC: Every Thursday from 8.30pm
